Over $65 million in renovations restored the Historic Heidelberg Hotel and the old Capitol House to their former state of grandeur. Now open as the new Hilton Capitol Center, it once again stands proud as when it was originally constructed in 1927 and called home by Huey Long. This historic location at 201 Lafayette in picturesque downtown Baton Rouge is adjacent to the Shaw Performing Arts Center and River Center Convention Center, less than five minutes from the state capitol and only three miles from LSU.
